Maureen Elliott

Founder and CEO of Live Well with Cancer, Maureen has over 30 years' experience of Cancer care. Maureen has cared for cancer patients from diagnosis to end of life care and is passionate about helping people live their best life as they move through their pathway.

Anthony Nicholson

With over 40 years' experience in social care and education , Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to Live Well with Cancer. Supporting our charity since we were founded in 2019, Anthony knows first hand the impact that cancer can have on a family. In his role as chairperson, he aims to enhance and drive forward our culture, vision and mission so that anyone affected by a diagnosis can live well with cancer.

Rachel Grecian

Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, Rachel has first-hand experience of the gaps in service provision for young women facing cancer. She is keen to use her skills as a creative marketing and communications practitioner to address these gaps and establish a strong support network in North Tyneside.

Sarah Nicholson

Diagnosed with stage 3 low-grade Ovarian cancer at 25. Sarah knows the rollercoaster cancer patients go through during and after treatment.She will use her personal experience to help other people improve the quality of their life after a cancer diagnosis.

Sarah Dodds

With seven years' experience working in the IT industry, Sarah is now a trainee accountant at Global financial management. Passionate about cancer care in North Tyneside, Sarah will be Live Well with Cancer's treasurer.

Carol Singleton

A nurse for over forty years. Carol has worked as a District Nursing Sister in West Yorkshire. She's passionate about supporting patients and families to receive the best care and support . Carol was made a Queen’s Nurse in 2007, one of 13 across the UK when the title was re-launched and in the same year completed a Diploma in Aromatherapy which she continue to use as a volunteer. 

Live Well with Cancer is run by people affected by cancer for people affected by cancer.
