Live Well with Cancer cares about helping people in North Tyneside to live life fully with and beyond a cancer diagnosis. Our focus is on empowering people through self-help, mutual support and signposting to local services. We are a community that delivers flexible workshops, exercise classes and support groups that help people improve their health and wellbeing.
Live Well with Cancer host in- person and online workshops, events, and support groups to empower anyone affected by cancer to improve their health and wellbeing.

Live Well in West Moor
We're absolutely delighted to have found our second home in North Tyneside. Generously funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, our Live Well in West Moor project brings some of our best loved sessions, and some new ones to West Moor Community Centre.

Great North Run
A massive well done and thank you to all our Great North Runners who completed the half marathon in LWWC colours! Collectively they raised an impressive £6,000 for our charity. We're so proud of you all.

From North Tyneside Christmas Cards to 2025's Calendar and Sleep Better Journal (which is available to buy once the trial session is done), we are jam-packed with new and exciting products that we can't wait for you to have your hands on!
Workshops
Prehabilitation Monthly Group
Open to newly diagnosed cancer patients in our region, our new monthly Prehabilitation sessions will highlight the value of preparing for treatment by taking part in Prehabilitation, teaching attendees the benefits of movement, nutrition and good mental health.

Michael Bauble on Tour
As part of our 6th annual Christmas Bauble appeal, the community comes together to put their crafting to good use to help support cancer patients on treatment over Christmas.
