CEO & Founder
of LWWC
Founder and CEO of Live Well with Cancer, Maureen has over 30 years' experience of Cancer care. Maureen has cared for cancer patients from diagnosis to end of life care and is passionate about helping people live their best life as they move through their pathway.
Anthony
Chairperson
With over 40 years’ experience in social care and education, Anthony brings expertise and compassion. A supporter since 2019, he understands the impact cancer has on families. As chairperson, he is committed to strengthening the charity’s culture and vision so everyone affected can live well with cancer.
Sarah D.
Treasurer
With seven years' experience working in the IT industry, Sarah is now a trainee accountant at Global financial management. Passionate about cancer care in North Tyneside, Sarah will be Live Well with Cancer's treasurer.
Sarah N.
Trustee
Diagnosed with stage 3 low-grade Ovarian cancer at 25. Sarah knows the rollercoaster cancer patients go through during and after treatment.She will use her personal experience to help other people improve the quality of their life after a cancer diagnosis.
Jenny
Trustee
Jenny is a Clinical Lead Psychologist in the North East, supporting people affected by cancer and the staff who care for them. A long-time supporter of Live Well With Cancer, she is proud to join as a Trustee of this special community.
Charlie
Trustee
Charlie brings over 20 years’ experience as a Chartered Health and Safety Manager, including senior NHS roles. After losing his wife to cancer in 2025, he was inspired to support LWWC, using his skills and lived experience to uphold the charity’s mission of compassion and hope.
Live Well with Cancer is run by people affected by cancer for people affected by cancer.
