Live Well with Cancer and the Northern Cancer Alliance have partnered on a regional campaign to help people improve the quantity and quality of their sleep. We are hosting a series of Sleep Masterclasses for patients and professionals throughout our region.
Generously funded by Newcastle Hospitals Charity, the first two workshops were held at St James' Park, where Prof. Jason Ellis and Fiona Clark received glowing praise. The Sleep Masterclasses will form the basis of a series of eLearning courses that aim to empower people to improve their quantity and quality of sleep.
Stay tuned for updates from this project!
How can you improve the quantity and quality of your sleep? This is a question many have asked, and we're here to give you a few tips.
Professor Jason Ellis on sleep
What is sleep? Why is sleep important? How can we improve our sleep? These are just some of the questions we put to Professor Jason Ellis, Professor in Psychology at Northumbria University and Director of the Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research.
We are so excited to share our Sleep eLearning modules, generously funded by the Northern Cancer Alliance. The modules will cover a range of topics, including what happens when we sleep, why people get sleeping problems and how you can improve your sleeping habits.
