Live Well and Bailey’s Bears

Bailey was 6 years old when he found out that his dad would undergo surgery. Inspired by the support bear he had used during lockdown, Bailey used a surgery bear to help him through his dad’s recovery. He looked after his bear, just as his dad was being looked after.

When his dad recovered, Bailey started fundraising so that other children could have a surgery bear to look after, just like he did.

Bailey's Bears

Bailey's Bears aims to provide free support bears to children. Our team of volunteers personalise every bear so that each child’s support bear is going through the same journey as their loved one.

To request a Bailey's Bear, please fill in the form by clicking the button below and scrolling to the bottom of the page, including a brief description of the alterations you would like for the bear. As a volunteer-led charity, our resources are limited, so please be patient while we deal with your requests.

I promise to take care of my bear, and my bear promises to take care of me.

Bailey's Bear by Bailey Wilson

We are excited to announce that we will soon be publishing Bailey’s Bear, a book that tells Bailey and Bobby’s journey through the pandemic as his dad went through surgery.

Bailey’s Bear is funded by North Standard, who have supported the project every step of the way. We thank them for their generosity and cannot wait to share Bailey’s story with you.

Here’s a sneak peek from the book…
